This industry continues to grow as science offers more options for development in food technology. Through this module students will gain exposure to the type of work a food technologist might perform. This includes such tasks as evaluating consumer product preference, testing for quality control and investigating the blanching method of preserving food. Students will exercise creativity as they try to invent a “new” food product.
