Recipients of the Construction Trades (Basic Skills) credential have demonstrated concept proficiency and completed the following tasks:
Student demonstrates work ethics and general employability skills:

Student will demonstrate proficiency in splicing and soldering cables:

Student will demonstrate correct procedures used in taping splices:

- __ Demonstrate proper techniques used to bend, tape, re-tape and wrap splices

Student will wire circuits:
- __ Understand the concepts of an electrical circuit
- __ Create an electrical circuit using a circuit board
- __ Understand the difference between an open and closed circuit
- __ Understand the difference between series and parallel circuits

Student will be able to identify plumbing safety rules, general installation rules and vocabulary:
