Food Labels (Gold)

Recipients of the Food Labels (Gold Level) credential have demonstrated concept proficiency and completed  the following tasks:

1. List the required information on food labels.
2. Define calorie and nutrient.
3. List other names for sugar that might be found on labels.
4. Define serving size and how to figure calories per serving.
5. Explain which ingredient has the highest amount in the food.
6. Explain what “Daily Value” means.
