Activity One: Rules About Handling Animals
1. Gather materials. |
2. Read the “Rules for Handling Animals” sheet. |
3. Ask your teacher to give you the “Quiz on Handling Animals.” |
4. The teacher will read a sentence about working in a pet shop. You will answer yes or no. |
5. Your teacher will mark your answers on the quiz. Then he or she will count how many you answered correctly. |
6. Your teacher will talk to you about your answers. |

Activity Two: Putting Animals into Categories
1. Gather all materials. |
2. Put the Category Cards on the table. |
3. Mix the Animal Pictures and place on table. |
