Project: Discovery

OPEN A WORLD OF OPPORTUNITY!

Learners will explore, experience, learn and develop real-life job skills with actual tasks and job tools while reinforcing core academic skills. Students who learn by doing will excel and enhance their opportunities in the workforce and will be Job Ready. There are four different series within Project Discovery to meet the needs of every student. These series offer solutions for students of all functioning levels, ranging from Kindergarten to 18-21+ programs. Click below to learn about each series!

Career Awareness

This series introduces career pathways to elementary students, which encourages them to stay in school. It allows students to get excited about their futures by broadening their awareness of career options.

Career Exploration

This series allows middle school, high school, and adult students to explore a variety of careers. It encourages students to discover their interests and aptitudes for different career pathways.

Adapted

This series adapts the curriculum provided in our Career Exploration series to meet the needs of students with the most significant challenges. With multiple modes of instruction, no student is left behind. Adaptations include:

Job Skills Training

This series provides comprehensive Career & Technical Education training and instruction for high-functioning students. The curriculum provides a full 90 days of curriculum to get students prepared for one specific career of their choice.

Project Discovery is a great teaching resource! The hands-on activities are great... it's the only curriculum I've used that has a wide enough variety for all levels... there's almost always something that works for my highest and lowest-functioning students. The variety of job fields covered is good - students are learning things I would not have thought to teach.
